Well thing is, Lewis is capable of stringing together 4 wins a row without an effort, and during that stretch one DNF erases it all. With a 21 race season it's waaaay too soon for me to say anything more than he's off to a good start, so at least he has some padding and for once isn't the one trailing behind.

Think with Pagenaud is, IDK feels like we've been waiting for him, and he's always there just under the surface..but has yet to jump out and take it. Perhaps this is the year.
I assume, like always, Dixon will be in the hunt JPM will surely be. Power is off to a bit of a poor start but he can win a few and get right in it.
Cool to see Helio still hanging around, I imagine he'll do his usual rack up lots of good finishes, but 1 win and end up 4thLOL

Both races were great today!  Even as a Kyle Busch fan, I'm okay now with Edwards' move on the last lap, although I was mad when it happened. LOL

And Rahal has to feel somewhat gutted.

^ I completely missed the nascar race. I assumed it was last night (being in Richmond) so I didn't even look for it today.

Being a day race, it was pretty good.  Multiple lanes, surprisingly good racing and a stellar finish (unless you're a KyBu fan, haha).  And Gibbs has won 4 straight now.  They seem to be the new Hendrick, at least at the moment.

^ Watched the end online...wow. That was pretty aggressive from Edwards...I wonder how KB reacted post race. :p But good for him, taking one when he felt he deserved it.

Kyle was surprisingly calm and mature in his interview.  I'm sure he had to restrain himself a little bit, but hey, most of us would've been pretty mad after that.  I just hope if the roles are ever reversed, Carl understands if Kyle gives him a little bump.

^ Carl probably would be, especialy after doing it. But I feel like Carl's been in the situation several times before where he lost due to getting bumped so a) I think he's used to it and B) he understands that's the way it goes sometimes.

And I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the Gibbs meeting room. Tongue

Oh damn, Pagenaud wins again?
Certainly off to a hot start. He must be a favorite for the title by this point, though Indy is famously crazy as we know and Dixon can never be ruled out.

Semi relevant, I was in St Petersburg, Florida this weekend and while walking around randomly I found this, then I became sadCry:

I'm just hoping to see some good battles FOR THE LEAD this weekend.

And Talladega in NASCAR this weekend, which is always a crap shoot.

Another Rosberg poll with Hamitlon suffering a PU failure at the end of Q2, at least he starts 10th instead of last this time (bar anything like an overnight engine change). Like I said, at this rate the title is going to be handed to Rosberg on a silver plate.

Wow. What luck for Hammy. Hopefully Rosberg will prevail again. Thumbs Up

Wow, 4th straight to start the year for Nico. Still early and Lewis is very much with an easy striking distance, but Rosberg certainly has a decent cushion at least. I feel a smidge more optimistic about his title chances.

Rough day for Vettel as well.
Which can't be said for McLaren, both scoring points and Alonso getting 6th! Sad to say this fees like a win for themLOL

It'll be nice to see Hamilton and Vettel finaly get a clean weekend to fight against Rosberg, he's driving brilliantly but it's hard to think anything but this is being gifted to him.

Kvyat isn't doing himself any favors today.  The deal in China was just hard racing and Vettel didn't much care for it, but today was just ridiculous.  Just a little too aggressive.

Talladega was crazier than usual today, with multiple cars airborne and quite a few hard hits.  One car getting out front and controlling the air for everyone behind is still an issue, though, because no one could get a run at Kes in the last couple of laps to try and do anything.  So, a lackluster finish to an otherwise crazy race.

I think Kvyat's getting a bit too much flack around the net at the moment. Yes, running into Vettel at Turn 2 was silly but in turn 3 Vettel lifted off in the middle of a flat out corner thats little more than an acceleration zone. With the entire field behind him it's not at all surprising that someone hit him, it's just a shame it was Kvyat again.

BREAKING:  Max Verstappen to replace Daniil Kvyat immediately.  Absolutely ridiculous move, IMO.  In China, he makes a brilliant move and scores a podium and then yes, the next race, he got in over his head and made some bad moves.  It happens, he's young with a lot of talent, and he's definitely not the only one to ever make mistakes.  Verstappen is just as aggressive, or even more so.  Something tells me that Red Bull wanted Max in and found any excuse they could to demote Daniil.
