Nice! I'd like to hear them stretch some of their tunes out a bit more and experiment, plenty of space on a double album for that...

They already have a 15 minute prog epic on their debut album.

There are a lot of bands on here I would  say is not prog, but they are...  However, their music is very complex,
so I would say yes they are prog and well suited too!!...Big smile

Top banana!  I'm glad for the add.

I bought the album after watching some of the videos about designing and building the marble machine, mainly because I felt that this kind of thing had to be supported!  But it has had quite some number of spins, real fun vibe to the music.

^Agreed. I bought the debut on a whim and have been pleasantly surprised by the unique and quite happy expression found therein. Bubbly percussive prog pop thang....who cares anyhoo - it sounds great.

Maybe they don't have that heavy rock thing going on.
But it doesn't always have to be rock, does it? Wink

^ There's a minimum number of positive votes required (I don't know how many in their team) to be cleared for addition. Normally it's the team who does that.

So the band will be added to Progarchives? What happens next? Who will fill in the biography and add the discography?

Crossover doesn't need reminding as the Wintergaten suggestion is one of the more recent posts in their team thread. They have a backlog and I think that several of their team members may be on hiatus for the moment (so-called real-life can get in the way, and team work can really burn people out as it can be very demanding). I do know that one of their team was having problems adding to progfreak (when I had problems ages ago Mike helped me solve the problems immediately).

What has worked well for me in the past was friendly PMs to the team members if many months have passed with no sign of any activity (can help to solidify a relationship with the people too). The team members are listed on the subgenre pages (say here -- http://www.progarchives.com/subgenre.asp?style=3

Progfreak is a site made and run by Mike who was an important collab at this site, but it is not part of progarchives. He made the PA team charts to help Prog Archives team members to keep track of the suggestions and their status, but not all teams use them as different teams have different methods to keep organized. It's an excellent site and worth checking out -- been too long since I used it regularly, but anyone can join and contribute. I like his tagging and rating system for albums.

Hi.
Thank you for your reaction.

I haven't heard/seen the website progfreak before? Is that the database for progarchives?

I seem a bit impatient sometimes, but it's mostly enthousiasm.
