Funny story (if you have a poor sense of humor I guess)

I'm going to see Thank You Scientist in a few months and I was talking to a friend of mine how I used to talk to the band when they first released their EP on Bandcamp. I was talking about how I wrote a review for it back in the day and I thought hey why I don't I stop by that place I used to spend so much time on years ago

Well here I am

nah I keep it single because I'm single and also because my feet are the weakest part of my playing because I played in a percussion ensemble where I only got to use my hands and also it's more fun to play jazzy than metallic when jamming out solo
why?
i am very interested in the executions of triplets in once playing, i like sudden short triplets , either by single strokes on snare or kick drum. Like Phil Collins drummin on Wot Gorilla (boom bom brapp (the brapp is how i interpret the soundd of a tiplet, and boom-boom is a single double-stroke in-between triplets. Again good example is Wo Gorilla. Boom bomm - brapp
listening now, are you sure that's a triplet and not a 16th note roll?
maybe i mean 16th notes, Mike Portnoy does them also snd Gavin Harrison. Bomm-boom BRAAP!
if you mean the quickest patterns you hear coming from a bass drum to the point where it sounds more like a stream of hits rather than separate beats you probably mean a roll (on the bass drum, which I can't do)

that's because you don't use a quintuple pedal.
I cannot argue against this

that's because you are a wise man.
I cannot argue against that either tbh

the vibe reminded me a bit of Have a Nice Life with all the slow, hazy guitar layers, which is nice
feels a bit strange arguing against you over the genre tags on your rym page but w/e lol
I welcome it. I'm too ensconced in the technical details and the many influences that went behind it to know what I'm talking about as far as classification of my own music goes lol. Thanks for listening.
