Islands was one of the highlights of the show in Toronto in July. Fripp and Belew have apparently locked horns over material that Belew had a part in. Don't know the details but apparently Belew is fuming.

Oh my god, they played Islands?? I wish tickets weren't so expensive, but I have to see them live. It would be my first Crimson show. |

Lizard would be my first choice. A Sailor's Tale would also be nice.

That's weird. When I saw them Red was the biggest disappointment out of all the material I was looking forward to hear. (I'll admit I'm indifferent to most of the material released post 1974 and none of the tunes that were less than 40+ years old thrilled me) Those loudly banging drums in front of the rest of the music ruined the whole delightfully gloomy atmosphere of that tune for me. It was still a fantastic concert but I wish they had brought along atleast one drummer less on tour. Fracture*, 21st Century, Larks and surprisingly The Letters were highlights for me. *glad I saw them while it was still on their setlist

Great! I saw "Lizard" performed in Chicago, it was *amazing!!* This was our setlist: Darn it, I would have LOVED to have witnessed "Fracture" by this band!! |

From the show I saw I thought "Red" stood out the most. The drumming was so intricate with the 3 drummers playing synchronized interlocking parts. "Discipline" would be quite something, really wondering what would come out of that one. Already loaded enough with 4 guys. I don't think they'll still be touring after this Fall though unfortunately. Hoping for a new studio release as the octet.

"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."

Either Fracture or Lizard - I've had a chance to hear most of the others. For those unaware, King Crimson has been giving away free downloads of random live tracks as they tour. Just check out the news page of their website (https://www.dgmlive.com/news); each song is in its own post, so you'll have to sort through them, but there is quite a few from both the septet and octet. Not sure how long these will remain free, though.
