Interesting that Wilson is easily winning since so many here have bad mouthed him over the last few years.

That's pretty funny. Wilson has always been derivative to a certain extent. Is that really the reason he won't work with Stolt or Morse? I've never been able to get into The Flower Kings but I'd love to see Wilson do something with Neal Morse.

Love all three but Neal Morse is a generational talent. Would love to see Wilson get off his high horse and work with either Morse or Stolt at some point. Oh yeah, they're too retro for him. As if his latest album wasn't derivative in the least. Nope.

I can stand Morse and Stolt. Wilson, on the other hand...

i would probably highlight Derek Sherinian whom has released a couple of strong metal fusion albums where have an amazing collection of stellar guitarists and Simon Phillips. After exiting DT he have had a very strong and prosporus carear as a solo muician

Wilson of course but I like Morse a lot as well . No idea that Stolt had a solo career. btw are we counting 'The Neal Morse Band' as solo?! It isn't really any different than his solo albums other than he avoid overtly religious themes in the songs.

I was reluctant to add Roine since he doesn't have the solo career the others have. Then again SW doesn't really have that many more solo albums than Roine. I think Roine might actually have more.

What about Antony Kalugin, for me is one of the most intresting figures in last 15 years in prog, involved in bands such as Karfagen, Sunchild , Hoggwash, all 3 excellent bands, unfairly unnoticed by prog circles.
