Ok some of the bands here aren't prog at all, i agree...

But why don't you guys just ignore the bands you don't want to see and stop complaining ?

This website is exellent, if you don't like it , just create one better that will fit your needs

I beleive Queen, Radio and Deep Purple do have their moments in Prog, Art Rock wise anyway, but I'd say they use a medium of Prog.

Adagio, Anathema, Fantomas, Kamelot, James Labrie (solo), Lacrimosa, absolutely Nightwish, Therion, Queen, Radiohead, Deep Purple, Rhapsody, Alan Parson, and so many more.

very interesting thoughts about Deep Purple. in my opinion they are a precursor to prog-metal; I can live with their inclusion

Look at my flesh and bone
Now look, look, look, look
Look at this tower of stone

Look there on the horizon

So it's agreed ... we're going to toss Rainbow outta the Progarchives, eh?

Now to continue the thread ...

It's only been an hour since he locked her in the tower,
The time has come, he must be undone
By the morning

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."
