An underrated album packed with some great songs, although a Producers’ field day, with a plethora of outsiders gate-crashing the party. I still like this one a lot.

Apparently I have already voted in this poll, but I did not post, so I don't know what I voted for. Possibly Lift Me Up, or the Miracle of Life. Confused

I guess it's because, though it's great, it comes second to Shock to the System for most of us, not that we don't like it also.

I played it a lot at the time but then there was little else it seemed. I have a small anecdote surrounding this album that back in the 90's Gary Moore's brother Cliff came to my house on the way to a gig along with his mate (my boss) to pick me up. I struggle to remember who the band was now although I have a feeling it was Dream Theater. Cliff was very impressed with my prog CD collection and asked if I was a musician. He then picked up Union and said that was a great album and reckoned it was their most underrated. I thought little about it at the time but it's always stuck in my head!
