Ooh, that one is good but it unfortunately describes most people especially those who aren't real big music fans(which is most people). Yessified Those who get the Yes bug. Genefied Those who get the Genesis bug Jenny Sis A term I came up with that doesn't really have any strong connotation or meaning other than looking cute when you type it out. Progaholic is still my favorite that I came up with(at least as far as I know). Progalitize The act of trying to impose your prog rock tastes on others(even on non prog fans). I've been guilty of this myself. Prog missionary (I know it's kind of cheating and not really a new word) The act of trying to spread the gospel of prog especially to those who aren't aware of it or big fans(yet). What specifically is meant here? Having never heard progressive rock music, or having never heard of the term "progressive rock"? |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Progfligate: the cumulative expansion of modest musical ideas into immodest 20, 30 or 40 minute epic prog songs, which proceed to multiply and fill all available disk space.

Hi,
PROG'IN ... the long cut that goes into the night a la GD before we fall asleep. Shame we never heard any of it, as some was really good, but never on vinyl or tape, or CD! Typical for almost all music companies! And the story of progressive music! PROGMOO ... funny copy of the album cover, for an album that is not progressive, and just a stone'y album! HINT, the band might not be fake or just stoned! PROGCHOO ... the band is so heavy, it's weightless Guy Guden style ... it floats on its ... something or other thinking it is dancing! PROGBOO ... all the fans at a lot of PF concerts screaming and fighting for a piece of the pig. Never mind the music, of course! BUT, it looked far out from a distance ... was that part of the show? PROGMOTEL ... what a band sounds like after a tour and 200 motels! Was that music, or were they just going through the motions on stage with the tape running, a la PF?

Progasaurus mostly ate plants but occasionally played a mellotron made out of stone. Apparently someone's been digging his bones.

Hi,
PROGFLOW ... or even PROGFLY .... some of the great moments in Edgar Froese's last 10 years in concert with his group. The group, no longer has that wonderful flow of music. It's too mechanical now, maybe even "technical" for lack of a better term to describe the flowing music before! |
