Three songs in my collection with Dime in the name.  Which is your favorite?

Let's see what kind of interest a mini-poll generates.

Hello, fellow insomniacs!
No hecking idea who to vote for.

Slash's Snakepit is not my thing. I quite like the Sleeping Trees song but I can't resist the happiness of a dime: "I'm a dime, I'm fine and I shine", what more does a dime need to be happy? So, I have my Cake and eat it. Smile

Screaming Trees.

An alternative nomination, which I prefer:

Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

Slash solo got much better once he teamed up with Miles Kennedy.  Although, I suspect that is still not your thing.

I don't have that one in my collection.  The only Billy Cobham album that I have is By Design.  Also, I was keeping this simple poll strictly non-PA.  I will give this song a listen though.

If you get the urge to explore further I think his best albums are the first three (Spectrum, Crosswinds, Total Eclipse) and Inner Conflicts (which the track above come from).

Thumbs Up  That tune was great!  I am not a huge fan of jazz music.  I've read that too much jazz can have a laxative effect.  Wink  I do tend to prefer jazz artists that are led by either the drummer or the bass player like Bruford, or Buddy Rich, or Dave Weckl, or Stanley Clarke, etc... I'm not as big a fan of jazz bands that are led by pianists or trumpet or saxophone players, although if they have a good drummer and bassist than I probably like it.  Same with guitar-led jazz bands.

This is another one that I could have included.  A Journey song that PAers might actually like.
