This should have been the genesis of the dual 1978 duo poll duels. Another apples and oranges one with National Health having a higher average rating but the Genesis album having about three and a half as many times the ratings of NH. I have and like both albums, although I do prefer National Health.

Another easy one.

Health.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

This is one Genesis album that I’ve defended more than once — and that’s just with Ivan. I think it has some very good songs.

Oh, by the way, In case anyone checking out this poll is not familiar with both, here is a favourite of mine from each:

Those have both been favourite tracks of mine at different times.

Oof, this is making me feel bad because ATTW3 is an album with a definite place in my heart and which I think gets unjustly dismissed a lot, but... it can't beat the Health.

Genesis by far. More in tune with my tastes.

The NH album is ok, but overall too jazzy for my ears. I rarely listen to it.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Bought those much anticipated albums on release - and saw both bands that year!!  Time has been kindest to NH - the long fade out to the album is the stuff of dreams...(poor little Nemo)

Genesis --it has some great songs and is missing one thing--Hackett--to add the fairy dust he adds---even Banks admits it would have been better with Steve on it.

Gonna have to relisten to National Health. I really like both these records, i've always been a big defender of ATTWT. If it was squared against Of Queues and Cures it would go to National Health.

Like both of these albums, but NH is the better of the two.
