Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

The lineage for Focus is clear and live they are still awesome. Their legacy also easily surpasses that of Nektar.

I thought we settled this in the Focus vs Nektar-poll in the beginning of April. Well, let's hope the far more awesome Nektar will do a little better this time.

Two of my favorite bands from my youth. Back then, I probably preferred Nektar. Now I'm more likely to pull a Focus song onto a playlist--though I did just recently listen to both Recycled and Remember the Future all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed both.
Mega-respect for both Jan Akkerman and Roye Albrighton. |

I enjoy both a lot, but Nektar gets my vote.

Yes, I'm not sure why we need another one unless the OP didn't like my poll format.

Didn't George Jefferson like Nektar?
He might give this band a point.

That would be Nektar. Never understood the love here for Hamburger Concerto. Gave it one listen then it was off to the used record store to unload it. Interesting poll, Sacro'.

^ I just found it amusing as it was literally the exact same poll with the exact same title - only a couple of weeks ago:). Pleased to see Nektar with 2/5 of the votes so far this time around.
