I think some of you guys are forgetting that we're trying to break in a proggy that does not like distorted guitars.  Bands like Shadow Gallery and Pagan's Mind, as much as i love them are bad choices because of the distortion those bands use.  Porcupine Tree is an excellent choices, Pain Of Salvation is an excellent choice, Dream Theater can be an excellent choice, but bands like Symphony X are a HORRIBLE choice.

Like Rush and Geddy- it took me a LONG time to get used to the vocals of POS
