You're right - it's kind of stupid.

Rush is the correct answer. Triumph did some great stuff, though. Rik Emmett is incredibly underrated.

Um, wow.

Have you ever seen footage of Triumph live? It's pretty cringeworthy.

They were undoubtedly one of the inspirations for "This is Spinal Tap".

Hey,

I'm new here and being a big Rush fan will have to vote for Rush. However, Triumph are an OK band, Rik Emmit being a decent guitarist. They just didn't really have the longevity or creativity to rise to the level of bands like Rush and Van Halen.
