SINCE THEY'RE ONE OF THE GREATEST NUMBERS IN PROG-SCENE WHY CAN THEY BE CONSIDER AS A OVER-RATED BAND?...I WOULD SUGGEST IF PINK FLOYD IS AN OVERRATED BAND TOO?...SOME BANDS HAVE WRITTEN THEIR OWN HISTORY AND THEY REMAIN AS LEGENDS AND RUSH DEFINETLY ARE ONE OF THEM... THEN ...."NO" THEY'RE NOT...

I haven't heard much Rush so far, but what I heard was very average, no more and no less, so my impression is they are overrated.

No, hell no, no hell no, they are very important to Progressive music and the evolution of it to Progressive Metal, like it or not, Rush played a big role in evolving Progressive Music into something that is beautiful today.
