What do you think? I, for one, somewhat dislike them. I think they are overrated, I really detest Bono (I just do. And I hate his goddamn name), and 'The Edge's' guitar ALWAYS seems to sound exactly the same. And I hate HIS name too.

October, War, The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are all classics of rock. Everything else is pretty sad. |

They are definitely classics, but I personally don't like a whole lot of the material. However, "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is one of my all-time favorite songs.

really good???? I'd say so...
A band not afraid of change... they could have cranked out Joshua Tree pts 2, 3 and 4 but they didn't sit back on past sucesses. Probably the greatest group of the last 25 years. and I'm not really a fan... but it seems damn obvious to me. |

I respect them for their abilities and accomplishments, but they're nothing that suits my fancy.

I would say "really Good". Find it hard to fault them actually.

Ok. They have great moments (Where the streets have no name springs to mind) The first three albums were good too, as was 'Achtung Baby'

Really good. And Edge is a really clever guitarist. No virtuoso but great ideas!

OK.
Early stuff was quite good. I enjoy War, Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree, etc. I would say their egos are much, much larger than their quality of output nowadays. |

A good band, a little overrated today. The Joshua Tree is a classic and Achtung Baby was a risky and successfull step ahead. Their latest albums are OK but I prefer listening other stuff.

I go for BAD. The have some nice songs however, but mostly I have a dislike of their music.
Note: this is about the music. If we were talking about a certain messias like band member, I would voted veryveryveryveryd*mndbad |

I think they're ok. I actually own 2 of their recordings. One being the
best of (80-90) and the other one "Live under a blood red sky" or
something with a similar name
I think their main 'hits' are pretty nice songs, mainly those from the aforementioned era. I absolutely DISlike their latest stuff. |
