What are Mondo Generator like?  I've never heard of them.

There is a lot of great bands this year.

I'm looking very much forward to Opeth.

I've yet to hear dredg, so I shall try and hear some before going, I may hate them!

They're not mallcore.  they're a gothic metal group, and yes they have a female singer.  they do have poppy tendencies sometimes, but they're far from mallcore.

errr... (gorgeous) female-fronted melodic metal?
