I've decided to start a 64-band tournament. 64 Prog bands are to be in a single elimination bracket, but only one band can prevail.

We must first decide which bands will be in.

Rules:

- You may nominate up to 10 bands

- Bands must be listed in the Prog Archives in order for it to qualify

- All Genres are currently allowed except for Proto-Prog and Prog-Related

- Whether Proto-Prog and Prog-Related bands should be allowed to qualify or not will be decided in a poll

- Seedings will be based on what band receives the most nominations.

You may now begin nominating.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

tried to go with modern prog though i doubt it will prevail over the 70s giants...people just aren't willing to accept that music actually changes/progresses Big smile

just kidding--but i WOULD be really suprised if more than 5 modern bands made it into the top 10.
