Dunno if you can answer this Threefates, but I am "sure" I bumped into Carl Palmer a few times in Blackburn ( about 20 miles north of Manchester and very close to where both he and Jon Anderson were born) this would be between 1986-1988,not very helpful I know, but maybe you would know if this was possible ie you might know he was living in, say, the States or wherever.Or had relatives around there he might visit.Very vague I know and a long shot!Wacko

He's still 'Rockin' In The Free World', but he's a bit of an 'Old Man' now. 'Sleeps With Angels' was the last of his albums that i bought. I have all the ones before that though. 'Rust Never Sleeps' and 'Weld' are my favourites.

According to Carl's birth certificate.. he was born in Handsworth, Birmingham

Now in the 86-88 period he was living in Tenerife, Canary Islands..and still technically with Asia,  but I'm sure he visited home a bit.  He also recorded and toured with Keith Emerson in Three in 1988.

So its a possibility, but not a very good one I'm afraid..

I'm not gay, but I'm not afraid to say that Robert Plant looked like a Golden God. It frightens me everytimeI see him now. Man Gabriel has changed; that's the first time I've seen him now. Syd Barret looks less crazy than Roger Waters!

Doesn't anyone find that Peter Gabriel has changed ALOT since around the nineties even?

I was REALLY surprised when I saw him around the time Up came out, cuz I didnt see him for a while anywhere, and then I didn't even know it was peter gabriel until it said he was! it's crazy!
