His work with Hatfield, National Health and Absolute Zero was truly impressive. Great drummer indeed. I'll miss him deeply!

I've never heard of him, but my regards go out to fellow musicians. Now I am inspired to find these bands' recordings and hear them. You see? Something can come from death. When I hear his music, I am sure I will understand why you mourn him.

Very sad.
I've just known and loved his playing for a year or two. Loved Pip Pyle's drumming from first listen. I'll play all the National Health and Hatfield and the North albums I own tomorrow. Halfway Between Heaven and Earth and Tenemos Roads are two of my alltime favorite tracks. |
