I promise that this will be my last poll for a looooooooong time! Just wanted to see what the spread is on this topic. Oh sh*t!! I forgot to put down the Dream Theater keyboard guy. Sorry! Even though I hate DT, their keyboard player should have been on this poll. Edited by redbar89 |

"Progressive.... yeah, that's it..." |

Clive Nolan. his involvement with progressive music the last 15 years is great. He playes in two of the best neo-progressive rock bands, Pendragon and Arena, also with Karl Groom on various projects, Shadowland, Casino, Strangers on a Train. with Oliver Wakeman. and as a guestmuscisian on Ayreons project(s) and some more. arguably the most important keyboard player of the last 15 years. |

I realize Mr. Lee is not really a keyboard player; probably not even a pseudo-keyboard player, but he did some little ditties on the ebonies and ivories now-and-then. I like Rush, though, so leave me alone. Stop picking on me!

I don't know how many times this question has been asked, but every time the awesome KERRY MINNEAR is completely ignored. He is the greatest keyboardist of all time, but he never gets a mention on this forum.

Redbar, why include Geddy Lee, who is patently not a top keyboard player, and exclude Tony Banks and kerry Minnear, and all of Tangerine Dream for that matter! |

I apologized for the Geddy Lee faux pas about an hour ago!
I'm sorry about Geddy! (Geddy, I will nurse your ego back to health by next Tuesday. Just ignore the mean people.)

GURU GURUBiography | Key Albums | Discography | Buy GURU GURU were one of the wildest and most imaginative bands to emerge from the 1970`s Krautrock scene and gave definition to the term. Fulled by a combination of LSD and loud raunchy experimental music which might seem to be unstructured, it indeed incorporated many styles, from jazz to pop. These influences became more and more evident as the band’s career progressed.
