Love the first five in the poll. Voted for Amon Düül II.

Miss Soft Machine's brilliant  Second Album.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

Bitchess Brew should have been in this poll, for tougher competition...

Phallus Dei beats ITCOTKC hands down.  20% of ITCOTKC is made up of the last 9 minutes of Moonchild, and I Talk to the Wind, while a nice song, just sounds too dated at this point in time.

It's between Jacula's (if it really is from 1969) and Amon Duul II's.  I voted for In Cauda....

I voted other - my choice would be the debut album by Yes. A great effort!

(Certainly wouldn't  vote for the vastly overrated KC debut! Wink)

I voted "other", but can't decide between Yes, Led Zepellin or Stand Up by Tull.

Phallus Dei holds a special place in my heart. It's the first Krautrock album I ever bought.
