ok, most of these bands probably arent prog

as i have mentioned in a few threads, a while back I purchased 100 LPs over ebay, I knew that about 50 of them were prog and I wont the auction for only about 20 bucks, so it was worth it

but help me out with these bands that i can't get any information on

Narada Michael Walden -  The Dance of Life

Shooting Star -s/t

Eddie Jobson - Zinc

Larry Carlton - On Solid Ground,

Wayne Shorter -  Phantom Navigator, Sleep Walk, Eight Times Up

Riccardo Cocciante -  Anima

Mind Over Four -  The Goddess

Donald Fagan - The Nightfly

Michael Pinder -  The Promise

Fantasy - s/t (i dont think this is the prog band that i know nothing about, looks like some kind of american hippy band, i dont know)

Casiopea -  Make Up City

Michael Hoenig -  Departure from the Northern Wasteland

Flowchart - Tenjira

Univers Zero - 1313 (ok, well i know this is a prog band, just found it in my collection, how is it)

Mike Oldfield - The Consequences of Indecision, Earth Moving EP, i know this is the tubular bells guy now, but how are these anyway

i just usually have something playing at all times, so should i word these into my daily playlists or not

He is one of the guys from Steely Dan. I'd give it a try (I'm undecided on it - picked up the CD for about 2$ last year - many people love it).

Sorry..I haven't heard most of them. But does that Mike Oldfield - Consequences of Indecision album mention Pekka Pohjola somewhere? Because if it does it's probably Pekka Pohjola's album "Keesojen Lehto" (Mathematician's air display). Mike Oldfield played on that album but somehow somewhere someone made a mistake and titled it to Mike Oldfield. But if it is Pohjola's album I think it's rather good.

Wigu - yeah yeah, he plays bass and piano, it's funny i was looking it up on this site and i couldnt find this album, that might explain it

Reed -  i just want to know what this stuff is, if i put on a bad record it is like ingesting poison, you wouldnt want me to ingest poison would you?  what would be the point of these message boards if not to hear someone elses opinions?

i generally like all prog rock, so if it is prog rock or has some relation, let me know

This great - last fiddle album from Jobson - several excellent tunes - some fireworks from keys and fiddle - you may have to put up with Jobson whiney voice though (but much more instrumental than vocal).

Wayne Shorter -  Phantom Navigator

Shorter trying cashing in with  apoor jazz rock solo album- he did it well to brilliant in Weather Report or backing Joni Mitchell. But he's the master saxophonist of mainstream jazz and wasted here.  This  is amazingly lightweight considering the calibre of the musician - I bought it cheap on vinyl a long time ago - haven't played it in a decade.

Donald Fagan - The Nightfly

A great album - Steeley Dan style jazz rock, with only have the front men. Has well stood the test of time.

Donald Fagan's The Nightfly is a great album. Very nice indeed. I'd recommend it.
