What do you guys think of it? Although initially a bit disappointed with it, for not being as hard hitting as the rest of their output, I'm quickly coming to grips with it and have started accepting it for what it is, a nice little jazz album. Smile

Recommend checking out their live album Bushman's Fire if you get the opportunity. An entirely different beast, probably destined to be my album of the year. Was in attendance when they recorded it, the most ferocious live performance I've ever experienced. Accompanied by Kjetil Møster on sax and David Wallumrød on organ, they were literally on fire that night, and that translates well to record.

Bought:

Electric Eye - Different Sun
Farmers Market - Slav to the Rhythm
When - The Black Death

Received:

Gong - Rejoice! I'm Dead!

Excellent fusion album, already love it to bits, and I'm definitely going to order Bushman's Fire when I get the chance. Thumbs Up

Hi Audun
Damn it's been a while. Hope you're doing good my friend. Still walking in those mountains of your's from time to time? I still fantasise about living close to a mountain of my own that I can visit any time I like. Maybe it's because I live in Denmark eh? Seriously whenever I travel and see mountains my vacation instantly gets vastly more exciting.
Yeah erm...Bushman's Revenge? Great jazz album. I really dig the almost tinkling feel of the cymbals. Makes it all dreamy and rather soothing to the ears.
Thanks for the rec btw! Duly noted good sir.

Oh yes Scott! I was rather surprised myself as I had joined their mailing list. Didn't receive anything from it, yet here the other day I saw Apricity adorning PA's frontpage under new releases. One would think that a new release would be something to inform their fans aboutLOL but I guess they wanted us to be surprised. Gotta say it worked well.

Yes.  One would think that a band would maybe want to mention that they have a new release to their fanbase mailing list.  :)  Added to the wishlist.

I hope you dig the Sons of Kemet and Comet is Coming David.

Have not heard the new Goat yet, loved the first one but the second left me a bit disappointed.
