Bit of a jazzy mood of late eh Bartek?
I've been spinning Pharoah Sanders albums lately, so I am always ready for some urban jungle music.

Yeah... Inspired by my friend Neelus when we met again on Saturday evening for a beer. That Mingus album is his revommendation.

Mingus is great:-)

Have you ever looked into Sun Ra though? His 'Lanquidity' album should be right up your alley;-) One of the few of his, I gather would fit on PA. Space funk fusion if you will. Very psychedelic sounding jazz.

Oh and where is Neelus btw? I remember talking to him quite a bit. He is a really cool guy.

No, I've never heard anything by Sun Ra. But will try for sure. "Space funk fusion" seems like something that might be interesting for me. Thanks for the rec. Wink

As for Neelus, he's still in the same place that he was before. It's just he's busy with his work (he works at nights) and family. Very nice guy, indeed! He said he will come back to PA. Did you know he's from South Africa?

Oh, and yes, Mingus is great. Smile

Well it's a big band type of deal, but not in the Duke Ellington way, if you know what I mean;-) more fusion driven, and more funky.

and yes I do seem to remember him saying something about being from South Africa. Is he in Poland now though?

A Polish wife? Sounds reasonable. I may look into it.

We have more than enough here as it is. Don't worry Bartek. The streets are litered in tall blonde Danish chicks. All that needed to happen was, that someone went ahead and turned on the sun. Then they all jumped out of their bunny holes ala Kazaam!

Wow I got double-ninja'd!
