These guys (and girl) sound great. They're not a typical psychedelic/desert rock type California band. Their compositions have a bit more depth and variety than a lot of West Coast bands I've heard recently.

I was reading about the Peter Gabriel remasters this morning.  I was wondering if anyone in here had purchased them.

It never fails to amaze me how much money some of you youngsters have to buy new vinyl.......Shocked save that money for the future.

Let's see...bought some used vinyl yesterday.....PF- DSOTM and Queen-Night At The Opera for my 14 year old granddaughter...she displays them on the wall to impress her friends when they visit her room.  Big smile
Picked up a copy of UK for myself on old vinyl...cover has some wear but the vinyl is pretty clean.
Also found a copy of A Nice Pair by Floyd....like the cover and art work... (even though one can still find the first two albums alone)....it was only $10. And snagged a copy of the very first Deep Purple ...some light scratches  and the cover is worn...but it was only $5.

Ian: how is the new Bent Knee? Very interested in hearing where they go next after that wonderful debut of their's.

Samuel: same question but in regards to Hedersleben's previous album Die Neue Welt. Been meaning to check it out after genuinely enjoying Fall of Chronopolis.

New (old school) jazz arrivals much thanks to an Amazon giftcard my babysister handed me:

Dave Holland Quartet - Conference of the Birds
Don Cherry - Mu
Miles Davis - Sorcerer
Jon Coltrane - My Favorite Things

“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”
