let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Suggested them ages ago myself....I concur, of course.

But why do you link to Alice Coltrane?

I'm listening to it now, haven't heard enough yet (hearing the psych and Kraut qualities), but may be a candidate for Art Rock (Eclectic), and jazzy qualities.  Which category would you suggest?
I'd think Psych should check this out.

For reference purposes, here are the other topics:

Personally I see the band as somewhere between psych and kraut in style, with elements of minimalism and jazz thrown in for good measure.

Sounds like eclectic really - but perhaps the psych team should have a say first? I'd say it's prog enough to belong in here anyhow - and I'm sure Valdez can be asked for bio and photo when it is approved ;-)

^ That's what I was thinking too.  And good point -- with Valdez help, this could also be an easy addition.

WCoolCoolCoolW!!

Valdez, if you could contact me (send me a private message, that is), with a bio and one pic you'd like us to use, I could add Baku Llama quicker than you can say "Eclectic Prog".  Big%20smile

I need to listen to this album.  I've heard a few tracks from it and album sits not far from me, so I may stick it on later.

I'm looking forward to it. Big%20smile

Thanks again, Rick. Tongue

Baku Llama added, folks. http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3978
Rick, if there's anything incomplete about the addition (precise catalogue number, track times), PM me again, and I'll correct what's necessary.

We have a new "Very Live" song posted on our myspace called  "The Dalles".  It's a strange one!
