Perhaps the problem with Buckethead is you never know what to expect with any one of his albums - heavy shread with daft word (e.g Giant Robot) and like this far more reflective and tons of effects

Sorry Dick, I was still listening. Interesting to hear that Deep Purple recording, indeed I've heard there are some live recordings from the Tommy Bolin line-up which show him in a not too favourable light...of course he died not long after.

Probably the best Budgie track from the best Budgie album. Most of their stuff has pretty lame production though, I have to say.
 
Your favourite band Metallica did a cover of this song...if it's anything like the butchery done to 'Whiskey In The Jar' I don't want to hear it!

I've been checking out the odd album but nothing real as strong as those two tunes you name. There is a greatest hits album I bought for somebody 4 or so years ago, and again Darkness2 stands heads and shoulders above.
