Another Gentle Giant vote. Trick of The Tail doesn't seem to be on the list, excellent album, in my opinion though not upto the Gabriel albums.

The Snow Goose - the ultimate progressive masterpiece (to date).

But WYWH is also very good, as are Free Hand, Scheherezade and Ghosts.

A very close call this one between The Snow Goose and WYWH... my vote eventually went to the latter.

My top fifteen 1975 (from what I can remember):

Don Cherry: Brown Rice (st)
VdGG: Godbluff (pollwinner!)
Hatfield and the North: Rotter's Club
Terje Rypdal: Odyssey
Area: Crac!
Steve Hillage: Fish Rising
Miles Davis: Agharta
Frank Zappa: One Size Fits All
Vangelis: Heaven and Hell
Klaus Schulze: Timewind
Tangerine Dram: Rubycon
Vortex: St
Zao: Shekina
Archimedes Badkar: Badrock för Barn i Alla Åldrar

Something cozy like Camel or Novalis on that last spot.

Strange list for a strange year.

As much as I love Gentle Giant and Henry Cow, those in the poll are least favorite albums by them (not counting GG's popcrap).

For me this one comes down to Free Hand and WYWH, two absolutely brilliant masterpieces from two of the masters of progressive rock. But since I have a strong affection for Wish You Were Here, and as an album I hold very close to me, that one gets the vote.

What? No love for The Rotters' Club? PAAAAATTTT!!!!!LOL

Second choice would obviously be the mighty WYWH (much better than DSotM, in my very humble opinion), followed by Crac!, Godbluff and Rainbow's debut. The mere mention of KC's USA, though, is enough to bring tears in my eyes.... That unfortunate CD ended getting shattered in three pieces after falling off its rickety tower (Micky knows what I'm talking aboutLOL).

I voted Masque by Kansas ..  nothing by any of the other artists matches Icarus - Borne on Wings Of Steel, The Pinnacle , Mysteries and Mayhem ,In my opinion however Floyd will win this poll I think.

This one was easy. Wish You Were Here has always been one of my favs by Pink Floyd. Shine on, especially the first (7?) parts of it are just incredible.  One of the first prog suites I really fell in love with (unless you count A Change of Seasons by DT).   I couldn't think of another album on that list that quite struck me as such a masterpiece from this list!

For 1975, being the fanboy that I am, I would say Rush's Caress of Steel.. Absent that, my vote for this poll went to Wish You Were Here.
