CNN reported last night that Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, a Republican supporter of the bill, received a daily meal allowance of $127.41, or 91 times the average daily food-stamp benefit. Lucas is also notable as a recipient of the agriculture subsidies his committee doles out: He and his wife have collected more than $40,000 worth.

That seems fair?

I'm not a big sports guy but this was pretty cool.  One of the game's greatest being pulled from his final appearance by his friends, instead of the coach.  What a career.

I'm a little hesitant of posting this here, but hope we can rise above the politics of health care just to spare 9 minutes to watch this interview with a terminally ill cancer patient of remarkable courage and personality.

The Greek nazi party are now considered criminals (which they definitely are):

I agree with much of what is written in this comment:
http://www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/_w_articles_wsite3_1_28/09/2013_520689

I really hope they have enough proof to stop these villains.

I say nothing is nothing

The Yankees are one of the few things in this world that I don't really like, but that was still really neat.
