Hey Pierre.

Do you know this one:
Very experimental and imo very close to Krautrock in some places. Goes without saying that I really dig itBig smile

Sounds a little bit like this bizzare album of the beginning of the eighties

Nobody is really interested by this Battisti's album and it's a shame. It contains excellent songs.

Really nice jazz fusion album from 2011, with special guest Richard Sinclair.

Me too, Z. It doesn't matter if it's more a compilation of singles than a real album. Viva Battisti !

I love all Battisti's production up to 1980 (Una Giornata Uggiosa). Singles or albums make no difference with Lucio. Wonderful stuff!

Andrea, It's harder for me in 1980. But I suppose that if I could understand the lyrics perfectly, it would be different.

Bell'italiano, complimenti.Clap

Davvero non lo parli? Se non si capiscono i testi, con Battisti si gode solo a metà! Embarrassed

Mi spiace per MogolCry

yeah I listened to "Violenti" this morning while having a coffee.

Keyboards keyboards keyboards plus operatic vocals provided by Jimmy Spitaleri (the guy who now sings with Le Orme and replaced Aldo).

Jimmy Spitaleri nowadays (behind him there's Le Orme's Michi dei Rossi).

He is the spitting image of Saruman the White!!! No wonder he was the singer of Metamorfosi in an album named INFERNO!!!

Here's Saruman the original one (from the motion picture):
