I felt the same very long. The solemnity of the singer annoyed me. But the magic of the sounds proposed here made me love it

One of my faves....you made me play it this morning.  Such diverse key atmospheres...harpsichord, moog, piano, organ....with a slightly dark feel though not as much as Jacula....some bombast and other sections serene and melodic.  It was one of the very first RPI albums I purchased...Heart

Yes, Jim, the sounds are characters in this music.

Andrea, I like very much that Oscar Prudente's album. I like the sound of flute mixed with the harsh guitar. Prefer this one to the one with Fossati.

Hmm, now you guys have got ME thinking!

I think my first few RPI albums were...

`The World Became The World' and `Photos of Ghosts' by PFM, but they were the English versions, so perhaps that doesn't quite count?!

Le Orme - `Felona e Serona' (Italian version, I still have never heard the English one to this day), `Collage', `Uumo Di Pezza' and `Verita Nascoste' - all great!

Also `Smogmagica', which I didn't want to include, despite the first track being a total killer. The rest is lousy. The new guitarist they brought in was totally out of place with the band on that album.

But then `Corte Dei Meracoli', totally blew my mind!! Still in my top RPI albums to this day - pretty sure no guitars on that too, if I recall?

It's time to rest my weary bones.
