I also forgot to mention that two early members of JET founded
another well known Italo Pop band "Ricchi e Poveri".

Mike, dont expect a miracle of that poopy band. We are far from the charm of I Pooh's Un po del nostro tempo migliore Smile

Oh no, really Pierre?! But she's so adorable! The band could sound like rubbish and I'd probably still be happy to watch her sing!

Wow, that I Pooh track is nice! Very dramatic and cinematic!

Ok, romantic kangoo ! This is for you. Probably my favorite soft RPI instrumental.

Andrea, I'm actually quite impressed! They just sound like a very good straight rock band, with really nice playing and lovely vocals. I like how they all share solo vocal passages!

I love that album, what a pleasing track!

Thanks, Jim, I'm not going in for anything too serious! But pretty much if I leave the dentist looking even slightly better than the duck in the picture, I'll be happy!

Jim, (well, both Jim's, I'm sure you've both mentioned your love for this one!) as I've been going back a getting my record/CD collection in order, I've been digging out some long-unplayed or neglected albums, and I'm currently listening to the Samadhi album...

Your opinion, please! Does it often sound very much in the same style as that wonderful debut Yes album, especially the vocals and gentle instrumentation? Jim, I know you like that first Yes album, so I'm wondering if that is part of the reason you dig this one so much as well?

What a special album!

Samadhi has a small supplement of soul, that's it. It is frequent in 70's RPI. Big smile

It's a fine album, Pierre! Yes, those soul elements show up a few tracks in! I really dig that instrumental in about the middle of the album - sorry, I forgret the name, I was doing things around the house as I was playing it!

Thanks, Jim! Yes, when I played Samadhi the other day for seriously the first time in a couple of years, I thought some of it had that same pleasing vibe the Yes debut has, probably why I instantly thought of you!

I've been coming across several `lost treasures' I've got, that just got put back in the wrong place on my shelves and kind of disappeared! Over the years I tend to grab several titles off the shelf, then leave them in my family room to get through. After several weeks, the pile would grow and I'd simply just slot them back into the free sections of my shelves, too lazy to put them back where they belong! I've NEVER doing that again!

Have not heard of Free Wave Zone or Bella Band, but I've added them to an email draft I keep with names of RPI bands to look into...needless to say, that list keeps growing!
