"Every breath you take".
Even if it's a hit single, it's the song that stands out the most for me.

it is a good song
my favourtie is Synch II and Wrapped Around Your Finger,
Synch I and II are for me the two Police songs which sounds most fresh today and have a sort of post punk attitude

Excellent album!
I love every single track (with the exception of the horrifyingly bad "Mother"), but I voted for the title track #2. My favorite song from The Police. |

I once saw a list of worst lyricists of all time and Sting was at #1. One of the most wrong things I've ever seen. Yes his solo lyrics could get annoying but his work on albums like this is more than enough to keep him away from such "accolades".

I love the Police, and this album is so good it is hard to pick a favorite track. It's a tie between Synch II and Murder By Numbers...I'll chose Synch II in a pinch. |

It is an awesome album. I was thinking Tea in the Sahara, but there are so many great tracks I am not certain. I'll give it some more thought and get back with a vote.

Gotta vote for the off-beat weirdness of "Miss Gradenko"

This might be their most uneven record. Some of their best tunes are here, but they also hit the driest patch of their career (tracks 2-5).
My vote went to "King of Pain." You know that bit that starts on 3:19? That's why. |

the song could by chance be a litle longer (a tiny bit to short) but then after that comes the best songon the record IMO

I like every song on the album, even Mother. This album puts them in crossover territory as far as I'm concerned. I went for Sync II.

"Murder By Numbers" in Frank Zappa Or, "Synchronicity II. " in Queensryche I recognize the renewal and this album great again every time it listens to it. It doesn't win so much in the original though Kevyn Lettau also did cover album of Police. I love all tunes. Well. I go to "Tea In The Sahara" as a result. |

Every Breath You Take. Even stands up to Puff Daddy ruining it.

My favorite Police album, tough call between King of Pain and Synchronicity 2, voted Syn 2. Rest of the album is also good!

Hated it when it came out....the smugness of Sting's candle dancing and that elitist line about workers like lemmings in shiny metal boxes offended the Socialist in me. Plus, you couldn't escape from it.....it was poured over AM and FM radio and TV.
My thoughts on the album have changed 100%....I think it rates with the best of the Police albums.
Tea in the Sahara for me....this and Killing an Arab are two of my favorite songs from 80s.....easy to see I'm a Paul Bowles fan.
