Nothing better than petting a little fuzzy, purring kitty while listening to insanely technical death metal. Soothes the soul.

A picture of my cat, Ernie, aka Ernesto Monello Löwenherz, aka Corleone dei Siamesi, taken in the fall or the end of 2007, when he was just a few months old. I used it as my avatar on PA for a while.

Tori died of old age last year.  RIP Tori.  And yes she was named for Tori Amos. Big smile

Old age is a good way to go.

Several of our cats have been musically named - we've had two cats called Syd, a Roxy, a Siouxsie, an Enya, a (Suzi) Kettles (a character played by Emma Thompson in a TV series called Tutti Frutti) and a (Dear) Prudence.

Two were named after F1 racing drivers - Jenson (Button) and (Ukyo) Katayama; one after a town in Leicestershire - Ashby-de-la-Zouche; Spike is obviously from Buffy; Storm after author Storm Constantine; and Mouse is named after the character from the ReBoot tv series.
What?

We found this guy, then 2 months old and the size of an open hand, ready to be left in the streets (by some people I don't even want to know):

We do miss the big guy, who died quite a few years back.  This is mid 90s.

You never left food on the counter if you wanted to eat it yourself.  With no effort whatsoever he could walk off with your dinner in a flash.

I need to dig out tropical aquarium fish pics.  They all died out before the flood and I was going to get some new ones.  Ah crap the only pics I found suck.

Here's Chelsea-dog in Dec. 2007. I think she was around a year old then.

No pics of Mokey-cat. :( He's about 8 or 9 though. I'm not good with dates.

Those are most of the animals we have here. One cat is missing because he is too black to be captured in photographs! Shocked

Anyway, here they are. First, my dogs.

Kaizer

Nero

Both

Tanning in the scortching sun with its favorite bone.

Now my mother's cats

Daphne (the only female animal) on my bed.

Fofinho (literally fluffy), Daphne's kitten, on one of the sofas.
