Dunno how prog they are, but I'm guessing most people on PA don't have horses on their property.

Old age is a good way to go.

Several of our cats have been musically named - we've had two cats called Syd, a Roxy, a Siouxsie, an Enya, a (Suzi) Kettles (a character played by Emma Thompson in a TV series called Tutti Frutti) and a (Dear) Prudence.

A lot of ours were musically names too - in addition to Tosca & Dylan (still with us...) we have had a lizard called Tarkus, & cats names after the Zappa Dynasty: Frank, Dweezil, Moon, Diva... all sadly now hunting in the clouds (but they gave us some great years )

I am not a big fan of horses, don't really dislike them per se. But I do have to say there is something very visually striking about that photo. Of course, I am quite a golden retriever fan.  That is a gorgeous dog.

Thanks you guys, his sire was a North American Champion in something or other, so I guess that awesomeness comes through. And ya, I always liked the composition of that photo, its among my favourites.

Tapfret, I'd like to see some more picture of your menagerie, particularly the 7-toed wonder cat.  Also I find it amusing that your old man cat is named Tim while my old lady cat is named Timmy, we should set them up on a date Tongue

Also, any chance we could get a better look at Jimmy? He looks pretty cute but I cant tell when his face is buried under a cat lol

This is our dog May Bell,a dog we rescued(named by Maryland Animal Rescue,we decided to keep it.We call her May.)She was horribly abused as a very small puppy.Who could harm anything at all,let alone a small innocent animal like this?

Here is May about a year and a half later, full of life and energy, after receiving much love from our family.

My cat Saber, doin what he does best.

Those are some adorable animals.  I agree, how any person who would even think about harming such a small, innocent animal is beyond comprehension.

And just as a casual aside, your last.fm list is very impressive, Progtologist.
