Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, here's another album to check out:

Soon on PA, a solo project title Lowercase Noises will be added to the database and they are not a band to be missed. The pseudonym for Andy Othling, a New Mexico native, Lowercase Noises creates a beautifully ambient post-rock sound that every fan can appreciate. The album Carry Us All Away carried me away to the corners of my mind where nostalgic thoughts of beauty roam, maybe it will take you there too.

Basically all samples can be found here:

http://www.lowercasenoises.com/

and the album can also be bought there.

Carry Us All Away is a personal favorite but from what I've heard, you can't go wrong with any of his recordings.

In honor of a soon to be PA addition.

So what if it is?  He's trying to expose the rest of us to stuff he thinks is cool, it's a good thing.

Some people's tastes are superior to others'. Or at least that's what it looks like they think.

There hasn't been any posts that relate to this. Wacko

There is nothing wrong with this thread.
I just wish he would show off his other music. Approve

I never said it was a bad thing.

What if this is exactly what Truthy is into and wants to share with us? I doubt this is difficult to get. Your "Ok, but show us something interesting next" attitude is not one with which I'd go myself in someone's thread to post.

He should have used my avatar pic instead, would have been a little humorous

I could show off other music, it's just that this thread has been in existence since my post-rock binge started. LOL

Something different was requested but maybe you should be careful what you wish for. Tongue

This week I wanna introduce you to the excellent trip-hop project Metazen which just last month released an absolute gem titled The Conscious Cicatrix. There have been two albums released so far and both have full streaming and download free of charge.

Now, I'm not a huge rap fan but this album in particular really just struck me as fantastic on first listen. The lyrics are fantastic and the sound effects and production really create one heck of record. It's an album that really takes you places so I hope some will try it and hopefully enjoy it.

Thanks for following me!
