Antipop isn't talked about much. It too has some killer tracks.
I thought Les went all Zeuhl on The Last Voyage Of The Liquid Sky. Sounded like Jannik Top guested on bass

Frizzle Fry is my favorite, ground hogs day has helped me get out of bed in the morning on numerous occasions.

My favorite Primus albums are Pork Soda and Tales From The Punch Bowl. Their most 'accomplished' albums IMHO.

Brown Album has some cool tracks (Bob's Party Time Lounge is a killer) but it sounds like it was recorded in the out-house.
Naugahyde has some weird sh*t on it.
Pork Sode is my least fave from them.
Punchbowl is amazing - never tire of this one. Frizzle too.

Love their quirky style, absolutely worship Punchbowl......
Les is an alien......

Punchbowl is my favourite too, Frizzle Fry is a very close second and was the first Primus album I got.
Brown Album and Green Naugahyde are my least fav.

Primus indeed suck like no other band Big smile

I didn't know Herb had a heart attack, wtf??

But great news Carey is filling in for Herb, I wonder how this will sound.

And since this thread poped out, did anybody enjoy their latest album??

I was a little disappointed, I expected it to be much much better.

Just read that Danny Carey is filling in for Tim Alexander while he recovers from heart surgery. Should be able to catch some dates in September.

I'm lovin the Primus Love!
I personally like what Larry has contributed to the group. His guitar work helped the band fit into all kinds of diverse concert bills during their crucial first years.

Here is a primus replica band that I just have to share with you guys.

(I hope they find me and pay me for this haha)
Their drummer is Mike Machine (World's Fastest Drummer).
This is my 1st post. So might as well make it count

Bob's Party Time --> Bob's party time - YouTube
Wynona's Big Brown Beaver --> Wynonas Big Brown beaver - YouTube

I found their page, looks like they're just beginning, they are tight tho.

Not sure where they're from.. But, they certainly kick the crap out of the other Primus Tributes.

I remember an interview with Possessed's Jeff Becerra round about the time Frizzle Fry came out where he bagged on Ler for joining Primus.  Crippling accident or no, dude was a dullard who had nothing to say.  Called them "f**king Prime-ass".

Eh I gave up on waiting and am streaming it.  I forgot to mention also a pre-order of the Levin Torn White album.  I think I may have set a personal record.

Well, that makes three preorders for September along with Steve Hackett and Tori Amos.

Come on free tickets for life!

That's a ringing endorsement for me.  I was going to listen to the streaming last night but will wait for the arrival most likely.
