I like some of PoS's stuff, but they don't consistently blow me away the way that Anglagard's two studio albums do.

Anglagard would ahve probably won for me if they were up against most of the other acts in this contest, but not against PoS. |

I used to like both Anglagard studio albums considerably (especially Epilog), but never return to the music as I subsequently discovered other musical avenues that I much prefer; however, what PoS I have listened to was a pain to listen to, so Anglagard it is.

I like them both equally, really. I went with PoS simply because they have less votes.

They took symphonic prog and mixed it with King Crimson. They're a gold mine for retro symph fans.

This result puzzles me this time and I'm not being pretentious lol Anglagard has two studios albums that while very good sound like a rehash of mid-period Crimson. On the other hand POS has numerous albums, all different and amazing. Could it be fanboys on here are a little fickle. Until the last couple of albums PoS could do no wrong. The fact that they keep on changing is a good thing, afterall it is called progressive rock?

Didn't King Crimson already do that in 1969? |

No, it's because whenever a non-symphonic band comes up against a symphonic band the result is always the same.
