I'd like to suggest you all an Italian post-rock band, Stearica.

They have made only two albums 'til now, Oltre in 2008 and Stearica Invade Acid Mothers Temple (with Acid Mothers Temple, of course) in 2010. I have only the first one, and they sound pretty similar to Mogwai. I've also seen them live (playing a soundtrack for Paul Wegener's The Golem); they made a wonderful use of synth and sequencers.
