And so we have just three albums left to find track list details for. Smile This next one was a real tough job to find the info for - and I'm not even sure it should be on the site in the first place, but here we go anyway:

This is just a three-track CD, with one of them performed by Sajjanu and two by Kuruucrew (and one of those is only a Buzzcocks cover). If it belongs here at all in Sajjanu's discography, it should be in the Official Singles, EPs, Fan Club & Promo section rather than albums.  Kuruucrew's saxophonist sometimes adds a touch of brass to Sajjanu's sound, which is what led to the split being released.

Sources of info:
https://vk.com/wall-125014667_671 (the only source I found for the track times)

1. (Sajjanu) 言葉を用いて奏でるものは才能に有らず、ただの記憶に過ぎぬ(笑) (English equivalent: Kotoba o Mochiite Kanaderu Mono wa Sainou ni Arazu, Tada no Kioku ni Suginu (Emi) (13:48)
2. (Kuruucrew) How Robot Are You? (8:36)
3. (Kuruucrew) Walking Distance (Buzzcocks cover) (3:49)

Total time 26:13

Sajjanu band members:

- Nepperining Funazuma / guitar (left side) (1)
- Gida Dolgandy Fune / drums (1)
- Maleman Stoltz / guitar (right side) (1)

Kuruucrew band members:

Arnold Asakusanegger / saxophone (1-3)
- Manabu Murata / guitar (2,3)
- Daisuke Satokata / bass (2,3)
- Isamu Iwamoto / drums (2,3)

Note actual translation of the track 1 Japanese title is something like: "Those who play with words are not talented and are just memories (laughs)", or "What you play with words is not talented, it's just a memory (laughs)".

CD GrassAddCity - GAC-01 Limited Edition, 400 copies (Japan, 2009)

Note: The Sajjanu official website link we have on their page is dead. Current one is https://sajjanupechiku.wixsite.com/sajjanu

This album by Sajjanu needs the musicians adding:
- Gida Dolgandy Fune / drums
- Nepperining Funazuma / left-guitar
- Maleman Stoltz  / right-guitar

There is also a better cover image for it, in the same proportions as the rest of the albums on our page, on bandcamp, as well as some additional releases info.

NAP: Thanks, done by Julien.

^ Oh, I didn't even know about this thread... Embarrassed

Should I re-post my top (or "worst") biographies over there?

^ Thanks, David, I remember this.

By the way, I'd suggest to discuss bios in the Biographies Needing Attention thread. It's more convenient for us and, if they would look, for admins and genre teams.

^ Yes, I suppose that's why the admins insist now that any new band or artist suggestions that are submitted to the forum for possible addition to PA are complete - with a biography and source of listening samples included. The teams don't seem to have the time (or the will) to do the necessary research and editing to prepare these biographies themselves. I'll try and put something together over the coming days for those three artists that I highlighted above and post it in the Biographies Needing Attention thread. Smile

^ David, from my experience, everybody, including teams, prefer finished works. Even more, nobody likes incomplete works.

Genre teams are busy with their current work (evaluation, adding new artists etc) and if we say "Guys, here are the sources, you can compile a bio using them" most likely new bio will be never published. Smile

I have to mention that simple copy/paste from other sources isn't recommended, unless we have a permission from quoted source.

And, last but not least, let's make these things in a slower mode. Future generations should also have their share of work. Smile

Yes, I agree that the amount of work to tackle this problem is too huge for us to do at the same speed that we have dealt with the albums without track listings, so let's just do it as and when we have the time free, starting with those three worst cases I mentioned above.

I didn't mean a straight copy and paste when I said to use the info written on those links, but merely that the teams (including anyone helping them here) could use the info written there to create the biography from. Smile

^ The first two need referring back to the genre teams in the first instance imho, since all they actually have for a biography at the moment is "TBC", and I don't think that's really acceptable. Apostolis (apps79) includes enough info to write a biography for Solstice in his review of their Mirage album here, or the JRF team could simply include the info written here on our PA page for the band.

Edit: The other band with no bio at all is actually on wikipedia, and the guy who added the artist to the site even wrote a review of their debut album which contained enough info in it to create a short bio from. Confused

I think Fripp and Eno needs looking at a bit more closely by the PE team too. It just has links back to the two artists' individual pages on PA and has the text "NOTE: This artist must be listed in www.progarchives.com to allow albums recorded in the combined names of these artists to be listed correctly" written below the links, which may be true, but seems a strange thing to have as a biography with nothing else added there to elaborate on their partnership. Confused

Now, what do you want to do with this? Should we contact genre teams?

I think contacting genre teams makes sense only after preparing better bios (obviuosly not all at once Smile).

The fact that some bios are poor and too short isn't news for teams because these bios are their own creatures.

Note: On Discogs the tracks 'Greensnails' and 'Greenwood Desert' are listed as 'Green Snails' and 'Green Wood Desert', but it appears from the (rather small and difficult to see properly) image of the part of the LP sleeve here, that the bandcamp version is correct.

- Russell Mc Swan / drums, backing vocals
- Nic. Neeff / accordion

with

- D. Vulevic / bass (24)

2 x Vinyl LP Kerntonschall  (Germany 2007)

David, it will need some additional programming, as I focused only on album pages, not on artist pages. But it WILL be done in the near future.
No rush at all Julien...We've got plenty to be carrying on with in the meantime!!
So it is now done! Smile

3039 | Larry Coryell | Jazz Rock/Fusion | United States | 16055

Now, what do you want to do with this? Should we contact genre teams?

I, for one, cannot modify any artist information, only albums.

Of course, you're right!

Progressive Line CD's should be listed as Unofficial releases with no Country of origin.

This is an unofficial reissue label of unknown origin (identified as Australian on the releases, but in fact from Germany). Their releases have an address and licensing info, but both are bogus. Matrix rings on discs are devoid of any additional information. All releases known are vinyl transfers, and not remastered as stated.

(This was a Limited, hand-numbered edition of 500 copies including full length CD Album).

Also available as digital album.

NAP: Thanks, this album done. Left missing albums for later (or for somebody else).

Two more albums by this band are available on the Kerntonschall bandcamp page which aren't as yet on our site, namely https://kerntonschallrecords.bandcamp.com/album/mokele-goes-to-town and https://kerntonschallrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ufo-s-over-ellmendingen

No musician credits are given for these two missing albums, but it seems from http://www.kerntonschall.de/bands/thepancakeshistorygeschichte.html that it's more or less been the same three people over recent years, with just a few changes in line up back in the early days, so it shouldn't be too difficult to fill out that field.

But if you're a fan of some band adding their albums is a pleasure, if you don't care who these musicians are and what they play adding their releases is a burden. Obviously, it's only my unofficial point of view. Smile
I'll add the missing albums anyway over the next day or so now that we've discussed them here. Their music may not be my cup of tea, but I don't mind the occasional omelette lol!

^ Yes, since only Olav (Windhawk) has ever reviewed any of their albums, and ratings are also very few, I'll just leave the discography as it is without the four (including the one called 'Bootleg') missing albums which are on bandcamp. Their music is way too weird for me anyway lol! LOL
