I think it's worth to write in our team threads that one of us already contacted admins.
We could try that, sure, but wouldn't that only be yet another place to look for such information? It should be enough to write it in the "Report errors & omissions here" thread where the report has been made, IMO.

As for 10th Anniversary Edition track list, I saw slight, 1-2 seconds, differences in tracks' times, I think it's not important (and different players can show slightly different times). It's worth to give reissue track list if for example songs' order changed. Otherwise it's rather confusing than helpful.
On some of the tracks the difference was up to 10 sec, but I guess it's not that important really, and I see your point about it being more confusing than helpful.

In my opinion it's more convenient to have everything in the same threads where duplications reported: albums in question and subsequent E&O team actions.

I agree, but the duplication (it wasn't reported as a duplication, but as a studio album in the wrong place) was reported in the wrong (this) thread, so I wrote what action was taken in this thread. I should've written it in the duplication thread?

I prefer to have all information in the same thread where the error was reported, so it's not that principal.

Perhaps.

If the artist will be on PA I doubt somebody will remember that he has an album in V/A section. Smile
More likely the album will be added to his page. And sooner or later we'll find a new post in this: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=59458 thread.

Nonsense. The album entry would just be moved from the V/A section to the the artist's page. That's not a problem.

the album is most definitely a proper prog album; it is basically Brand X with saxophone and lyricon provided by Jack Lancaster of Blodwyn Pig and occasionally a string quartet

^ Anyway to be on PA, the artist should be suggested and added by one of the genre teams.

Thanks for taking care of that! There are a couple details about the 10th Anniversary Edition that are wrong or missing.

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=4224

The 10th Anniversary Edition also was remixed (accounting for the different times) and Benoît David is for some reason listed as an additional musician, when he did not perform on either version of the album.

Thanks again!

Thank you for the edits! Three final edits need to be done.

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=28538

Quote Patrick Bourque needs to be taken off the list, he did not play on the album.

Guests:
to
Additional musicians:

Also, the following three members need to be added to One Among the Living. However, depending on the rules of Prog Archives, they might be put in different spots. They are/were touring members of the band (and one was a full time member for a few years) and all did work on the album. It is felt by some that they should be listed with the other members of the band instead of additional musicians. The liner notes puts them in with the other additional musicians, though. Maybe put them at the top of Additional musicians, if they belong there? It's a little confusing...

- Benoît Dupuis / keyboards
- Dean Baldwin / guitars
- François Fournier / bass, taurus pedals

Thanks again!

The band "Gäa" is in the archives as "Gaa". That won't do; you can't simply drop the dots above an umlaut if that letter is missing on your keyboard. Also there are many ways of using characters which aren't on your keyboard; what are character tables there for?

If you decide to enter bands that have an umlaut in a different spelling then replace the umlaut with a normal vowel followed by an e. In the case of "Gäa" it would be "Gaea". Fortunately they only have one album, so it hopefully will not be too much of an effort to correct that.

Changed to Gäa - we usually have original titles on PA.
