Glad to know there's another Richard Thompson fan on PA. Have you seen him live yet?
I've seen him live, solo, twice.  Absolutely spellbinding performer.  Just him and a single acoustic guitar.

I saw him on the Sweet Warrior tour in 07. He did "52 Vincent" as a solo piece and it was fantastic. He just keeps getting better and better.

Sorry, my mistake.  That was a typo - I've never seen him live at all, much less twice, solo, in absolutely spellbinding performances on acoustic guitar.

It must've lost it when I switched laptops... In that case it's been far too long since I've listened!

Sorry, yeah. Never saw him rock the Palace Theater in Greensburg PA with "Gypsy Love Songs" and Pete Zorn on sax. I've never even heard of a song called "1952 Vincent Black Lightning", nor have I witnessed it in full splendor at about 15 rows back on the floor, during the 2007 Sweet Warrior tour. Who's Richard Thompson?
