The Gunners Dream on the Final Cut by Pink Floyd gets to me if I'm in the right state of mind. Heavy stuff.
On the other hand, the piece of music that has made me tear up each time I've heard it is the finale to Respighi's "Pines of Rome." When performed, the music calls for the brass to be on stage as well as the back of the hall. The three dimensional effect is really amazing and.... tear inducing!

EDIT: Yeah, turns out I have no idea how to embed video

I cried when I heard Yes perform Awaken during the Union Tour.
My seats were two rows from the stage, and the sound was awesome.

AirBag's All Rights removed is a pretty sad album, but it's very good.
Could provoke crying. Lol

I well up all the time listening to prog, the last being just when listening to Maestrick. Had some pretty good cries and maybe one or two full on snot bubble blowers, the last from IQ- One Fatal Mistake and DT Beneath the Surface. Guess I"m just a little sissy bitch at heart.

I'll be honest, I did a little hearing "Lady Of The Dancing Water" Cry and also almost did on the other great peaceful KC tracks (I Talk To The Wind, Cadence And Cascade, Book Of Saturday, and Matte Kudasai). I think I also did on hearing "More Fool Me" by Genesis which people usually forget about on Selling England but it's a great track. Horizons', For Absent Friends, and the whole Trespass album were also quite emotional for me Embarrassed

I think I did on Wish You Were Here (and Turn Of The Century) but not sure...

Ever made me cry? No. However it has made me experience strong emotions; it's a bit difficult to get tears out of me because I don't show much emotion at all to begin with, however there was a time when it was easy to get me a cry and during that period - in which I was suffering from depression - songs I could relate to could make me cry in a snap.

This afternoon I listened at And You And I (from Keys to Ascension), And You And I (from An Evening of Yes Music Plus, still better), Sound Chaser, To be Over, Gone But Not Forgotten / Catherine Parr / Merlin in a row.
At the end, I was exhausted and affected, moved.
And yes, I had some light tears that didn't want to leave my eyes.
Was it because I live with that music since 40 years?
Or was it because the beauty of this music is otherwordly... simply the music, I don't care for lyrics.
It is what it is. Emotions never answer such questions.

The section 'Do you Believe In The Day' from side 2 of Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull frequently moves me to tears.

agree with you--Yes music is other worldly--and this can't be said of lot's of the rest of prog--I saw anniversary concert at Madison sq garden and was moved to tears at the amazing end of And u and I---it was because the song was so old and still sounded so amazing---that is an accomplishment in music.

Nice . This happens when music possesses you, or has become a sixth sense, not just the hearing but a visionary and emotional experience. And that without any drugs. Music itself is the drug.
This is one strong point in prog music, for sure.

Moved? Yes. Actually crying? Not often, but it does happen from time to time. Marillion - Script for a Jester's Tear is... well, a tear-jerker.
Also, not prog, but I cried like a little girl when I heard Leonard Cohen sing "Take This Waltz" live...
