I had trouble limiting this from a top 20 to a top 12 and I feel I cannot cut the list anymore. These are in chronological order. I can't say I favor any one more than another because they're all so unique.

Mister Class and Quality?
The Advent of Panurge
Raconteur, Troubadour
The Runaway
An Inmates Lullaby
A Reunion
In a Glass House
Proclamation
Playing the Game
No God's a Man
On Reflection
Free Hand

I used to dislike "Think of Me with Kindness" and call it the only bad song they did until "Timing". I'm glad I changed my mind, because it really is a beautiful song, although I'm not too fond of the trombone/trumpet (?). I think the song would have benefitted from either a fuller arrangement with multiple horns and maybe even strings or a very sparse one with only piano and voice.

No real order, and subject to change:

The Runaway
Just The Same
Empty City
The Moon is Down
Funny Ways
Playing The Game
In a Glass House
A Reunion
Prologue
Two Weeks in Spain

Gentle Giant are definitely one of the best bands for openers.

Prologue
On Reflection
So Sincere
His Last Voyage
Working All Day
The Moon Is Down
Peel the Paint

------- Honorable mentions go to: -------

I have seen it mentioned a couple of times, but The House, The Street, The Room is perhaps my favorite GG track. I think it needs more sugar.
“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”

- Douglas Adams
