It is unfortunate. My own Halloween playlist has, among other things:
Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs - Haunted House
Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy
Alice Cooper - Unfinished Sweet
Alan Parsons Project - (The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether.
Arthur Brown - Prelude-NIghtmare
Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
The Velvet Underground - Venus In Furs

Although I can see why you wouldn't want to expose children to the kind of rape, murder, sado-masochism and malevolent dentistry found in this list.

Don't forget Halloween, Pt. 2 by Pulsar!!

Great songs here! Alan Parsons, Arthur Brown Clap

Listening to Spectral Mornings again, I should've voted for that Unhappy

If I were to make a Halloween mix, it'd be:

Current 93 - Nature Unveiled (8 song version)
and
Merzbow - Venereology

Another vote for Kate; her voice back then is kinda witchy enough to turn the kids' heads...although I woulda gone with Hammer Horror myself.

Should have gone with the One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater.  This is actually a toss up between Monster Mash and Lucky Man for me.  LOL

I'll give Fleetwood Mac a vote.  I'm sure there's a few other fans on this board, but not many.

I voted for "Dreams" also. The self-titled album and RUMOURS get my vote for greatest pop albums ever. Lots on TUSK are brilliant as well. Still, if we're talking Halloween, while it *has* to be a Stevie Nicks song (she had that whole witch-thing *down*), I would have gone with the creepier, more gothic "Rhiannon."
