... yet less important historically if it came out later (just going along with the argument). It's a favorite of mine too.

That was not in our argument but I'll let that one slip.

^ Not a dated product? Something that's never been done before in terms of production?

Then you probably haven't heard Faust.

What would The Division Bell be in the 1960s?

I like The Division Bell better.  Sorry majority.  I bet if The Division Bell had been recorded first, and the debut album recorded last, people would have opposite opinions.

The Division Bell, easily, for me. I love it all, from start to end, and Gilmour's guitar is as good as ever. It's not often that a group fills a CD worth of music all with songs that I like so much. As for Piper, well, it has some nice songs (specially Astronomy Domine), but there's a lot of songs I don't really like.

I only really like Astronomy Domine and Interstellar Overdrive from "pipper" but I definately prefer the live versions of those.
DB for me thus.

High Hopes is one of the best songs ever written, not only by Floyds and Wearing the Inside Out is another materpiece, but I love Barrett too much.

This is a tough one; I'd say they're probably about equal to me. I'm leaning a little towards Piper today, though.

Love both, but Division Bell just shades it for me.
