Great album Iain. I tend to play that when spring arrives and am able to open up all the windows so as to better woo women in the sidewalk. I then pop on some Cappy Beefy afterwards which has a funny way of counteracting the great Scott.

Btw have you checked out his recent output yet? His newest Bisch Bosch is rather like watching an old western movie in a nightmarish tiger den while under the influence of whiskey and ayahuasca. There's actually a guy playing marbles on the albumLOL

Kinks - State of Confusion (their arena phase was regrettable but it kept them together and it's a solid 3 star effort)
Who - Endless Wire (I've never heard them sound so bleak...but need to listen to this some more methinks)
Keith Emerson Band -
Three Fates Project - (proof, if such were needed, that orchestrated rock becomes just bad orchestral music while rocked up orchestral music becomes just bad rock music)
Scott Walker - Scott 3 (conspires to be camp, effete, kitsch and borderline Van Dyke Parks Schlager as sung by a baritone Captain Scarlet chipped off his tits at the Spectrum Xmas party - that means it's miraculously good for those seeking clarity)
Joseph Bishara - the Conjuring (the soundtrack to this decidedly mediocre horror movie is considerably more pant fillingly scary than the visuals)

Thanks, Mr Zeppelin! I like many of their albums, but that's the one I always return to the most. I think my next favourties are `Remember The Future' and `Live at the London Roundhouse', but there's actually a few of their 70's releases I'm still yet to hear. I'm always looking out for them. `Tab' is a good one too.

Might I say, what a terrific list you posted, I love every one of those albums, I'm actually quite a big Birth Control fan! Really dig those early heavy rocking Hammond-soaked albums!

Jim, how great is that debut Yes album?! Always makes me smile, Jon's vocals are lovely on it too. The album version of `Looking Around' is a killer pop song!

It's makes me a little sad how that debut is often a little...ignored or dismissed, maybe because the band wasn't fully proggy yet?

Hey, I'm on nightshift at the moment, and giving all my old Jefferson Airplane albums a spin, made me instantly think of you!

Michael....indeed!   I've always loved the Yes debut.  It really rocks out and has good catchy sensibilities, a nice dreamy psych hazy feel....good stuffBig smile
