Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Piano Concerto No.19 In F Major, K.459 (Brendel, Marriner - ASMF);
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Piano Concerto No.23 In A, K.488 (Brendel, Marriner - ASMF).

Fantastic Mozart! So much tenderness, so much depth in a music of pure grace, without any sort of weight...

Alfred Einstein wrote about Concerto K.459 that the first movement would be an “ideal march”. But i see it very different from a military connotation, given it's so vital, so much "elán"!

I've span this one a few times now. It's bloody brilliant!

Yep, it's slowly winning me over too, Gabe! I did move on to the next two albums, but I think it's best to focus on one and commit to giving that heaps of spins first! I ripped this one for the car, so I'll be giving it plenty of plays over the next couple of weeks!

Meltdowner, hope you liked Santana's `Borboletta' as well!

Hell yes, baby!

ABB And Sagi, spreading the Good Book of Terpandre!

I noticed your comments on the Italian page about that second Delirium album, I've got it in the car so I'll dig it out for the drive home! I remember it being really rather inconsistent (but nowhere near actually bad), which was why I don't listen to it as much as their other albums!

You know sometimes you forget about an album (as good as it is) and when you come back to it, it blows your mind like the first time, well then it happened with Terpandre, I must have played it more than 15 times the past few days (I kid you not!). Personally I think it's stunning, you have to get used to it since it doesn't reveal its charm right away but man this is beautiful! A lot of quiet subtleties are hiding there, it remided me of Amenophis which is another stunning album (maybe even better). Hey I'm glad you like it too...

And I agree with you about Delirium, it is kind of a mix bag but still always good, the other two are better though Thumbs Up

Oh man, how much I tried to get into this album, it is good especially the first couple tracks but I was never really too impressed. Do you like it?

Sagi, it's perfectly lovely, Beautifully played, nice arrangements, very melodic....but never truly thrilling?

Dave mentioned their first album to me, which I thought I had, but when I checked my shelf, it was this one. Would you recommend the first album?

Having recently moved house I've been introducing the new place to the sound of prog, all on vinyl.  Last night before I went to bed I played side 1 of Selling England By The Pound, and this morning when I awoke I played side 2.
