No, I don't think Motorpscyho's ever played in Portugal. When they started out they toured Central Europe; Germany, Italy and Netherlands mostly, then after that adding the US (only once though, 2008, I think), Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden and Finland to the list of countries to tour more frequently, before adding the UK and Spain in the last few years. So they're moving west, slowly but surely closing in on you.
How did you find that Huntsville album, btw?

Yeah, there's a few box-sets with their first six studio albums, I think I've seen, but as I've already got L.A. Woman, I think I'll go for the remastered and expanded version of their other albums, unless I find a box-set for less than the total cost of those, then I could be tempted.
Spending all one's money on music, sounds familiar. Sadly, I can't say I share your enthusiasm for miRthkon, can't get into them, however hard I try.

I'm going to listen to it again soon. Maybe then my rating will change. But I like The Bedlam in Goliath better.

Great music. Some of the best Non-Magma Zeuhl and italo-prog albums.

Yep you seem pretty up to date when it comes down to those Rune Grammofon releases. Maybe I should start something similar with El Paraiso Records.
We could end up as two Scandinavian music pushers - hell I already feel like one
How did you find that Material album? I wouldn't immediately think that it was something to your liking, but I've been wrong before. It took me a little while to open up to it - mostly because I was expecting a hardcore fusion album with rap tendencies.....and there's a loooooong ways between that and the ethereal and ethnic fusion found on here. I entirely blame the 'Parental Advisory' sticker for that. I used to buy a lot of 90s hip hop and every record that ended up on my shelf had this sticker on it. Anyway, the second or third time I span it something magical happened, and I haven't looked back since.

I hope so. elephant9 played here last month, so who knows... I think many people would enjoy their music, if they would play here At first listen it didn't seem as good as the previous one. It's probably because it wasn't very surprising after listening to the other one. Hmm...funny how taste works, Bedlam's my least favourite TMV album. Still good though, of course.

Yeah, I've seen you push a lot stuff from there; Causa Sui, Skøtt, Psicomagia. Still haven't taken the plunge on any of them (although I did hear a CS album once, "Euoptide" or something like that I think it was called, and I seem to remember enjoying it, too), but it's been on my mind to do so for a while. Someday...
Speakin' of Rune, made a couple of RG polls I while back, the one with the cover art you can perhaps see where I got the inspiration?

It's good, borderline very good, IMO. Yeah, I like it. Nah, I'm still developing my taste, I think, it's not set in stone yet, and perhaps, or should I say, hopefully, it never will. I'll say this much though, thankfully there's no rap on the album.

Yeah, I got the same impression myself. Still found it pretty good though, and interesting, most importantly. Requires several listens those albums, methinks.

I like it, in fact I like it a lot. I'm a huge fan, I just love his relaxing melodic ambient sort of proggy electronica. His debut album Far Away Trains Passing By is his best for my money (especially the 2 cd version). A Long Way To Fall is excellent though, wholly instrumental and a few tracks would sit nicely on a Bond soundtrack - a bit of a John Barry influence.

Hey, glad to hear you like the Schnauss album . No, I don't know Loom at all. I will add that to my ever-growing list of bands to try out . They certainly have a good heritage. There is seriously so much music out there and not enough time.
