Big Big Train – English Electric part 1

Killer review of Alchemy I might add!!!

Also. Did the English Electric album work for you or did you find it a little too saturated in Genesis like influences??

Well, Professor King, I do like the `English Electric part 1 album, I found it a very decent continuation of the Genesis sound of the first two Phil-led albums, but with a few modern sounds. It's very tastefully done, very melodic and easy on the ear, but I don't think I totally love it like many others do. Wasn't it voted the best album of last year by the Archives members??

Having said that, I've had `Part 2' for a couple of months now, and I've had no desire to play it yet. Don't know if they released it way too soon after the first one, but I just don't have much excitement to hear more of that kind of thing at the moment.

I also was wondering if MANZI's MILOSH's character in Alchemy, inspired you to listen to The Seventh Degree of Separation? Listening to Manzi on Alchemy made me listen to Arena's latest! Anyhow, good line up brother.
